Project Portfolio
I’ve worked on many varied and interesting projects over the years, below are just a few samples of recent engagements I have undertaken.
Professional bodies I am a member with include The Musicians Union, The Association for Project Management and the Chartered Management Institute. I am working toward a Chartered designation in Project Management.
Tony Visconti’s Unsigned Heroes on Sky Arts
In the capacity of Operational Manager for Visconti Studio, I was in charge of organising the studio’s part in the filming of Tony Visconti’s televised series, Unsigned Heroes with Sky Arts. The project included all management aspects of filming in and around the studio and integrating Kingston University students in the project. The show was an enormous success for Tony and I am proud to have played my small part in it. You can see a preview of the outcome on the link below.
Kingston University Winter School with Tony Visconti
Kingston University, in collaboration with Tony Visconti, organised a Winter School where a select group of very talented students spent a week learning production techniques from the master himself. The stars aligned that week as Tony won his first Grammy for David Bowie’s Blackstar and the students were able to celebrate with him. I was in charge of managing many aspects of the week-long project including PR, student selection, international student travel and accommodation and managing Tony’s studio schedule. In the photo here we are all about to cut into a cake to celebrate his Grammy and a wonderfully successful week overall.
In Conversation with Ralph Rolle of Chic & Drumming Masterclass
Ralph Rolle, drummer for Nile Rodgers legendary band, Chic, provided a Masterclass for drummers and an evening show and talk. Aspects of managing this project included agent and artist liaison, studio management and PR. Ralph is a class act and all attendees to this engaging evening walked away inspired by his talk as well as his music.
