Merrellene is year three student of vocal performance at Kingston University. Prior to attending university she sang for corporate events, weddings and charitable events on various stages throughout the USA and the UK both as a solo artist and with choirs. Merrellene made the decision a few years ago to change her hobby into her day job and decided to retrain. After years of working in the city, she resolved to become a full-time professional musician. Her vocal abilities are truly diverse. She is a classically trained mezzo-soprano, but her heart lies in rock and blues music. With her distinct ability to effortlessly cross genres she is able to offer a considerable assortment of entertainment. Upon graduating, Merrellene will focus her career on the contemporary genre of blues and spend time further developing her function band MoxyMojo.
